Dean Sleeper - jack of all trades master of a couple, is one of the best dudes to do just about anything with. A true ape in every sense of the word.. Having a guy like Sleeper as a friend has many advantages. Wanna hear a story that sounds so ridiculous it can't be true but somehow you still believe it, Sleepers got one or two for you. Want to have the Best Day Ever, Sleeper can make that happen. Always psyched to have Sleeper as part of the Circuit family.I put this Sleeper photo collection together as a reminder of all the good times we've had the past few years.

Welcome to the new year and technically winter.Im not sure if this season will ever kick in and thats ok with me. As always (weather permitting) things tend to slow down a bit round here plus I'm battling some back problems which means I'll be slacking on the posts for a few weeks. If something worthy comes up ill post it, new items in the shop or whatever..I know January just started but its almost February!!

Seriously!! The T-1 Barcode dude!! I Had to get another one of these while it was available. We got a few of these a couple weeks back and they went quick. I don't mind if this one wants to hang out for a bit, I like looking at it but you can give it a good home at the same time..

I know for myself 2012 is just another year to ride my bike and support BMX scene.. Lets keep it going!! Im hoping to ride and dig until I look like this, I hope you feel the same..

When I decided to open a shop I wanted it to be more then just a BMX Shop. I wanted it to be more like a BMX family that has a home base or club house to hang out at. Id like to think that we have achieved this family feeling. Whether you're a brother, a cousin, a nephew or a creepy french step child you are all part of the Circuit Family.
We have been going for 5 years strong supporting BMX in New England and we are looking to make things better and better. This was an awesome year for BMX in R.I. with lots of visitors rolling through and every one that visited loved R.I. and had a blast. So please dont ever complain about BMX in R.I. cause it could be a lot worse. Be grateful for what you got is what I'm saying. Thanks to everyone that supported and helped out the shop this year..

Im not much of a festive person and I dont believe in Ole Saint Nick but Im glad that some people do. Thank you all for your support these past couple of weeks. Our customers are the reason why we are here and we are happy to support the local scene year round.. I would like to thank all the folks that have been using the Circuit Web-Store also. FLY Bikes just released a load of new products we grabbed most of the parts and will have a couple of the completes this week. Here are the new Classico V3 Brakes..

We got this Bone Deth Creepozoid Frame in a couple of weeks ago but I never got the chance to put it up. It's the Burns Signature Frame so you know this thing can stand up to anything you send its way,cemetary gaps, roof drops, green slime, I think the ladies dig the chrome too.. You can pick it up in the shop or right here on the Circuit Web-Store. We also got some bars,sprockets,pegs and seats from Bone Deth..

Traveling goes hand in hand with BMX!! If it hasn't yet, your bike is gonna take you places you thought you would never go or live for that matter.. This summer was the first summer in over 15 years I didn't go on a riding trip and I was perfectly happy with that. I've realized I have everything right here and not to mention we had visitors all season long which made not traveling that much easier. I am truly content!

The Packer and the Stacker enjoy a early December treat.. Content? I think so..

Here are a few 2012 Sunday Completes just in time for BMX-Mas!! They look good in the shop but I'm sure they wont be here long..

We got one of these in last week but it went before I got a chance to put it up on here so here it is again, Cult Death Row V2(21) built in the U.S. by the guys at Solid Bikes..

Every bike needs a comfy seat.. Well FBM knows this and that's why these "Heart Seats" are perfect when your parked.. You can almost take a profile mirror picture with them.

I think about this subject quite often, ya know, bike shops trying to sell BMX bikes and parts. Sure bike shops can sell it and hire few BMX guys that want to work on bikes but do these shops really know what BMX is and have they ever lived it? Probably not. They just push BMX cause it's an easy sale. By comparison, BMX bikes are chump change compared to the $3000-$5000 road and mountain bikes they are selling. What Im getting at is if you wanna be a part of BMX it starts by supporting your local BMX Shop and being a part of your local scene. If you've ever been here you know we don't just sell it–we live it!!!! A lot more can be said on this subject but I'm sure your done reading and I'm done typing..

Whenever we get to this point of the season I'm always thinking this could be the last day to get a good session in but looks like mother nature is gonna give us some extra season this time around. Just remember she can take it all away so get it in while you can..

We just received the new Odyssey R-32 forks. They might take some time to get use to the looks of them but I'm sure it will happen. Click here for details on them.

Got some Cult tires in this week. 2.25 and 2.10, black and tan wall. They look grippy and fast as hell or slow as hell.However you choose to ride them.

Im not gonna spend my winter complaining about how bad it sucks. Instead I'm gonna remember how awesome summer was and how awesome this coming spring will be. Until then we will just take what comes our way and endure. Never let go of your summer!

Oh man!! I cant even explain how excited I am about the new T1 SFA Frames.. First off its Garrett Byrnes Signature Frame, Second, seeing T1 frames back in BMX is just awesome and third they are made by S&M so you know they are super sick!! Get one and Get Loose cause they are already going..

The past few weeks have been hectic around here and I'm looking forward to some slower days around these parts. This past summer has seen lots of visitors in the Rhode Island area and I'm psyched that this lil state with a huge BMX scene is attracting some out of towners. Pretty Rad and thanks for visiting..

FBM just rolled through town and thanks to everyone that came out for the sneak peek of "Thousand Yard Stare" . Awesome times with good friends, that's what BMX is all about, Smiles!!
Circuit Party FBM Style!!

FBM Steadfast V2 Frames just showed up, just in time to get a few last runs in at the trails. This is a classic frame with some classic geometry.. New colors for this season are Dirt Brown and Trans Red, both look good in the woods.

We also got in a Berzerker V2 frame in Trans Black!!

Mr. Ferreira was was nice enough to drop off some Holeshots in a box. Last issue of Holeshot with a few other treats in the box. Its probably a good idea to pic one up..

This is probably the #1 phrase that gets said in the shop by most kids that ride BMX,"My Friend Said". Lets not listen to what are friends are saying and lets just form our own opinions for now. We will be much better off that way. Now if you friend says that BMX is Awesome, then yes, he is correct. Or if you friend says "Trails Rule" then once again he is correct..

My friend Mark Mulville said that Mark Mulville is pretty good at getting loose and freestyle rapping..
He was not lying.. Mark getting sideways at Mauls..

Mike Meister is one of the nicest people I've met in a long time. He came out from Colorado to cruise with the Profile Team. Dude will seriously shred anything you put in front of him, burritos, ginger ale, and 8 foot airs out of anything..Anything!!

My friend said(Bobby Parker) that we have another shop visit from a Pro Team in Mid-September. I'll have the flyer up this week and I think you will all be psyched on this one..

Its been a pretty interesting week around these parts, hot as hell to a lil chill in the morning air. I love New England weather. First cool thing that happened was that Van Homan and Gannwear swung by Circuit to say hi and check out the shop. I think he was pretty psyched on the shop which makes us believe we are doing something right!! Check out his photos from his N.E. visit.

Theres a few things lately that have been near close to perfect. The first thing is the picture of CHUNK in the new RIDEBMX magazine. The beautiful John Tillman with a perfect twisted x-up.

My personal opinion is the S and M challenger stem is perfect.Just got a polished and a black one in the shop. Come in and scoop it up and support 1998.

Perfect item number 3. This custom build we just finished up for our friend Phil. S and M and Profile parts. He said his girlfriend gets mad at him when he spends alot of money on bikes. He sent us this message when he got home.

"Bad thing is, she saw it when i got home..GOOD THING IS, I GET TO SLEEP WITH IT ON THE SOFA!!"

The Bruins won the Stanley Cup. First time since 1972. We will have the stanley cup here at circuit if you want to come in and touch it.

Everyone chooses to live their life differently and thats what makes it all soo special. There is no right or wrong. Just like BMX,there is no right or wrong as long. As your happy and you're enjoying what you do on your bike. If that means pedaling the city in the middle of the night, dodging grooms at your local skate park or spending hours in the woods reshaping the earth just to ride your bike once a week. It's all right!!

Brett enjoys the finer things in life, like nice hips and bowled out berms. And the different variations of saying Hi,High or HI!!

HELLO!!

Things have been getting a little wild around here lately with that tease of Spring shaking every ones skin off. But guess what? Endless Winter!! At least thats what it seems like.. Spent the last week in Puerto Rico touring the Island, hanging out with some buds and just living care free. Even though it was 85 there and 25 here, I still missed home. Puerto Rico is an amazing place and i would recommend anyone to visit there. So back to reality this week and reality is good. Now the waiting game begins for some of that spring time weather..PLEASE!!!

Dude!!! T-1 Frames are here!!! Joe Rich is a true BMX Icon and I'm psyched that T-1 is still doing its thing in the BMX World and Im sure you are too.. You would have to be of a certain age to appreciate what T-1 has done or at least up on your history. Unless you would rather ride one of them "ButtShark"frames or some frame that has tubing developed by aliens ,then maybe step it up to one of these classics.

It's Not Always Riding..

Got in some new goods from Deluxe BMX and of course they have the trail rider in mind. The New F-Lite Hubs are sweet and smooth looking. Female design with 14mm adapters for the rear or go traditional with the 3/8s. We also got some PomPom Sprockets and some more Deluxe T,s which didn't last long when they were here over the summer..Spring is right around the corner but for now check out the Deluxe site to get you through the winter blues.

Chrome is pretty much the norm once again, kind of like neon was in the 80's and the present for that matter. Fit was nice enough to release their Blade2 and Shiv2 in Chrome for all you folks that like the hassle free, no scratch, guilt free bike.New dropouts on both sets along with a thicker leg on the Shiv.

All of last years Blades and Shivs will be 15% off while they last. We have a few pairs left.

BMX isn't always about riding BMX. The way I see it you should be putting something back into what you love to do, I think you get a lot more out of it in the long run. Life is complete with a shovel in hand and that time is just around the corner.. Try to complete yourself this year!!

A few months back I remember doing a post saying we were half way through winter. That was a lie!! At that time winter hadn't even started but Im always looking towards the future and when the winter is this bad you can only wonder why.. So much for that January thaw, more like the January kick in the ass!!

My buddy Dr. Pinzon likes to tell me that I have the best BMX shop in Pawtucket R.I. well Luis Im gonna go a step further and say the new Circuit BMX is the best BMX shop in the Providence metro area.. If you can't tell this is humor..
So the new shop is just about done and things should be back to normal here this week. The past few weeks have been pretty hectic juggling the move while staying open' so thanks to everyone that helped out and lifted the weight of my shoulders..
Building out the new shop reminded me of building trails. The only way to get it done is to have a committed crew.. Shops done, now lets build some trails..Thanks to the crew for helping make this mission possible..

All I have to say right now is Thank You!! Seriously Thank You to everyone that came out to help Circuit move to its new location. Also thank you to everyone that inquired about helping out.. Truly appreciate your support. Its hard to believe we actually got that done in one day but 12 hours and 100 slices of pizza later and boom.. We done!!

So its a new year in an amazing new space so that means we will be able to serve our customers even better then before. We will have some pics up in the next week or so of the new layout and Im pretty sure you will not be disappointed.

Since we are buried under a few feet of snow I thought I would share what Jake has been up to. And if you can only guess, its pretty much having fun and living care free. Ya, Im jealous too.. Jake went on a transcontinental trip a few months back and came back with some good stories. Number one story,riding with Ruben for a week in Malaga, Spain. The end of the year always feels a little weird, we reminisce on the past year and all the good times you had with your buds and your bike of course. And we owe most if not all of our good times to our bikes. Circuit had an awesome year with loyal support from all of our customers, I can't say thanks enough! We all love our bicycles wether they are 20 inch or not. Just to get on one and make it move with your own power is an amazing feeling. Tomorrow is X-Mas, I know we all have the day off. Show your bike some love and sit on it, take it for a pedal or just clean it. Im just saying,
I love my bicycle!!!

We will be open our normal hours Sunday (11-3) and we will be opening at 11 all week for X-Mas vacation..

Every scene is unique and has something different to offer for a visiting rider. Personally Im not a big holiday guy but when the BMX Holla-Days come along I kind of get into it.We start with Cranksgiving then we move onto BMX-Mas and we finish the year with Fufa-Nu-Year..
So to celebrate the special days we will be having a BMX-Mas sale this coming weekend.

If you haven't heard we will be making some moves in 2011. Yes we are moving!! We will only be a few blocks over and it will be a store front. Expect a different shop. You can think of life however you want because it has so many different meanings to it but personally I have always had my own philosophy on life and that would be just going along for a ride or Riding Life!! I have a few close friends that I truly admire for this main reason. They live in the Now and not the past, or aren't super concerned with the future either. Sometimes you gotta let go of the past and not think of the future to realize the NOW!!

Thanks to everyone that came out for the Anthem II Premiere.. It was seriously awesome to see all of you.. Anthem II is truly amazing but that goes without saying. Anthem II would not exist without Anthem "Home of the Brave" so when all of you kids out there get this DVD package please watch Anthem I just as much if not more than II. Its just like having a favorite album of all time,it never get old Well, Home of the Brave is that favorite album.. Well kind of but if you really think about it, it's almost December which means its only 3 months until March.. Then its springtime=awesome.. You never know when we will get that bonus day in the winter either,its usually January 26th or something like that. Keep your fingers crossed.. But for now its more of the same, treating every sunny warmish day like its the last for a while..

Its almost 2011 which means a new year and new ideas. Circuit will be making some Big Moves in the coming year.. I will let you all know more on that soon.

On the Road Again..

Getting ready to head back out on the road or in the sky is more like it.. See you guys in a week or so.. Ill be out in Telluride,ColoRADo for the next 5 days for my bud Nates wedding and to renegade some 4 Locos with DR.Pinzon.. Look at this place, population 2000 (Hippies) I want to go there now!!!

While I'm away Sleeper and Dom will be running the show. Anyone who beats Sleeper in a arm wrestling match gets a free Circuit Shirt.
